Associate Attorney Heather A. Heaslett graduated from the DePaul College of Law in 2005 and was admitted to the Illinois bar the same year. While at DePaul, Ms. Heaslett was a member of many student organizations and earned a Certificate in International and Comparative Law, studying for a semester abroad in Athens, Greece.
Ms. Heaslett is from Murphysboro, Illinois and is a graduate of Southern Illinois University where she earned her B.A. in Psychology. Ms. Heaslett is a member of the Jackson County Bar Association. Ms. Heaslett is a former Jackson County Assistant State’s Attorney where she prosecuted traffic and domestic violence cases. Prior to joining the Roberts Law Firm, Ms. Heaslett spent two years at The Law Offices of Thomas Glasgow located in Schaumburg, Illinois, where she focused primarily on criminal defense and family law issues in Cook and Collar Counties.
Ms. Heaslett is also versed in administrative license hearings before the Illinois Secretary of State, and has capably represented clients with mechanic’s lien, contract, and consumer protection issues. In her personal time, Ms. Heaslett enjoys the many outdoor recreational activities that the Southern Illinois region has to offer.
